  • Permits are available for contractors, vendors and service vehicles at Parking Services for a fee.
  • Vendors and contractors are not exempt from parking regulations and restrictions. Vehicle drivers are responsible for any tickets incurred.

Campus Standards

In order to maintain consistent, durable and serviceable facilities the university has established campus standards. The NIU construction standards are not negotiable and should be used exclusively in all project plans and specifications. Substitution is only acceptable with direct written authorization from the assigned university project manager. Deviation from the standards may result in the university excluding the contractor in future project opportunities.
