Joining a Living-learning Community or Special Interest Community is easy, but space is limited due to all students having a single room for fall 2020. After being admitted to NIU and signing your housing contract, you'll have a chance to choose a room in one of these communities during online room sign-up as space permits. There may also be opportunities to be put on a wait list if a community is full.
