NIU at University Center at McHenry County College
Earn your NIU degree at the University Center at McHenry County College in Woodstock. You'll have onsite and convenient access to expert faculty, dedicated support resources and services, and a state-of-the-art learning environment — right in your own backyard! New cohorts are scheduled to begin every fall semester.

Admission Requirements
In order to pursue your NIU degree at the University Center at McHenry County College, you need to:
- Meet our admission requirements.
- Complete prerequisite courses with grades of C or better.
- Complete at least 45 credit hours as outlined in the program’s 2+2 transfer guide.
To meet our graduation requirements, you'll need to complete a minimum of 120 credit hours. You'll also need to meet general education requirements, which are fulfilled by an A.A. or A.S. degree from an Illinois community college.

After you have been admitted into your academic program, our advisors will support you as you pursue your NIU degree at the University Center at McHenry County College.
