About the Division of Academic Affairs


The Division of Academic Affairs is comprised of seven colleges, the University Libraries, the Graduate School, the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning, the Office of Assessment Services and the academic support services units. The executive vice president and provost is the chief academic officer who oversees the operations of these units.

Our Mission

The Office of the Provost mission is to create and maintain an inclusive and stimulating academic environment where talented and diverse faculty can realize excellence in teaching, research, artistry and outreach while providing students with challenging, high-quality, engaged learning experiences that help them navigate a complex, changing, and globally interconnected world and that put them on the road to career success.
