Learning Spaces
Learning spaces are found across the campus. These spaces include classrooms, common spaces, labs, study spaces, and more. Northern Illinois University strives to provide students and faculty with facilities that support student success and support the values of the University.
Evolving pedagogical approaches, increased use of technology, and student and faculty expectations have started to change the roles and requirements of learning spaces on campus. Our learning spaces need to be designed to be flexible enough to support current and future changes.
