Academic Program Requirements

  • 107-108 specific course hours for the Mechanical Engineering program
  • NIU General Education Requirements
    - An A.A. or A.S. from an Illinois community college fulfills NIU's General Education Requirements.
  • 120 total hours minimum to meet Bachelor of Science degree requirements
