Outreach and Diversity
The goal of the CEET Outreach and Diversity initiative is to build relationships and partnerships with companies, high schools, and community colleges where introducing the CEET to students, faculty and administrators creates a win-win relationship.
CEET Outreach and Diversity works to grow the student body, support student organizations, facilitate scholarship opportunities for students, and partner businesses with opportunities to connect with faculty and students.
Students can join one of many engineering and engineering technology student organizations that allow them to get hands-on experience in their areas of interest.
Each year, we offer 14 scholarships specifically for engineering and engineering technology students.
Teachers, find STEM lessons, educational videos, and events you can use in your classrooms.
Interested in a personal tour? Come and visit us. Prospective students are welcome to schedule a visit to the Engineering and Still (Technology) buildings. You will have the opportunity to see our state-of-the-art laboratories, speak with faculty, view our competition team labs and classrooms, plus more. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you can't be here in person, take our virtual tour.
We offer future students, community college counselors, and high school counselors a comprehensive look at the college, including tours and meet and greets with faculty, deans and academic advisors, and Senior Design Day. Here are some of our upcoming events:
At the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology, we recognize that our strength emerges from the diversity of our faculty, students, and staff. We know that when we bring together a variety of backgrounds, beliefs, opinions, and life experiences along with inter-disciplinary engineering knowledge and skills, we strive to coalesce the creativity required to solve the most complex challenges.
Some of the student organizations that represent our diverse student cohorts include:
- National Society of Black Engineers
- Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
- Society of Women Engineers
