Learn More About Blackboard Ultra Course View

This is just the beginning of making the transition to the Blackboard Ultra Course View. There are many more features to explore! Here are some resources to help you continue learning about the Ultra Course View.

Sometimes it helps to have a little inspiration from others! Our Blackboard Ultra Ambassadors have generously recorded and shared short video course tours that discuss their course organization strategies, the tools and technologies they used, and their reflections on those approaches.

There are new features released each month, so Ultra Course View is always improving. Check out What's New in Ultra Course View? for the latest news on what has just been released and what is coming soon.

What's New in Ultra Course View?

The Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning offers frequent workshops on teaching with Blackboard Ultra Course View and compiles additional sessions offered directly by Blackboard in our Upcoming Programs. We also have recordings of past workshops available for on-demand viewing.

More and more NIU faculty have adopted the Ultra Course View, so there are opportunities to share your experience with a colleague. We recommend starting with our Blackboard Ultra Ambassadors, faculty who completed the Ultra Transition Academy, or someone whose course has been recognized with an Exemplary Course Award.

Blackboard regularly seeks feedback from faculty to guide their development priorities and the design of new features. You can sign up as a Learn Ultra Insider to be invited to upcoming focus groups with the product management team (you will need to create a free account for the Anthology Community site, first).

Anthology (the company that owns Blackboard) will also launch an Idea Exchange soon where you can submit your own ideas for new features and vote on the ideas submitted by others!
