Editing Media

Once the media is on your My Media page, you can edit the media properties and the media itself.  Media properties are initially configured when you first upload or create the media but can be modified using the edit options. For example, you can modify the media title, description, tags, chapter markers, and collaborators. Using the Video Editor, you can also edit the media itself, including trimming the beginning and end of the media or removing a segment from within the media.

Edit Media Properties and Information

  1. Login to MediaSpace or Blackboard/Kaltura My Media
  2. Locate the media that you want to modify, click the media title to open its media page.
  3. Click Actions and Edit
  4. Use the horizontal tabs in the Edit panel to modify the media properties and information.

See the "How to Edit Media Properties and Information" video below for further details about each tab item.
