Interactive Videos

The interactive video feature of Kaltura allows users to create dynamic, branching video experiences.  Kaltura provides a custom interface for building the flow and connections between videos in your interactive project.  An example of an interactive video style is a choose-your-own adventure video where users watch an introductory video, then choose what to watch next based on content in the video and hotspots overlayed by the interface.  Another would be a video menu style project where users are presented with a menu of options offering opportunities for self-differentiation based on interest, ability, and need for information.  While the interface is relatively straightforward and low-risk to experiment, good interactive videos generally require careful preplanning and storyboarding.  See the additional resources for more details.
