In May 2019, Northern Illinois University moved to a completely redesigned, more user-friendly version of Blackboard called Learn Ultra that offers exciting new opportunities for teaching and learning while simultaneously maintaining the comfortable familiarity of our existing version of Blackboard Learn (now dubbed “Original”). In this online workshop, we shared a preview of the new Ultra navigation features, such as the activity stream and grades, and how they can improve the teaching and learning experience. We also offered a glimpse of the new Ultra Course View option.
