Presidential Commission on the Status of Women
The NIU Presidential Commission on the Status of Women is the primary advisor to the president on issues and concerns related to the status of women at NIU. It advises the president on research and actions needed. Commission members serve on behalf of the whole university in a spirit of independence and impartiality.

Family Leave Survey
The survey seeks input about the effectiveness of current NIU policies and practices concerning family leave. Survey results will be shared with campus administrators alongside recommendations for revision to campus policy.
All faculty, SPS, or civil service employees at NIU are invited to participate. Responses will remain anonymous. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
