The Behaviors, Attitudes, Resources, and Knowledge of Sustainability survey (BARKS) is a student-led research project assessing a variety of the opinions and understandings of sustainability among faculty, students and staff at Northern Illinois University. The most recent iteration of BARKS was fall 2023. The survey contains a wide variety of questions on issues of sustainability, climate change, and environmentalism on campus and around the world.
