Huskies Get Hired Disclaimer

By registering with the Huskies Get Hired system, NIU's online job search program, students and alumni and others who use the system are agreeing to allow the personal and professional information, e.g. name, address, telephone number, email address, degree, etc., they provide to be accessed by NIU Career Services and approved employers seeking candidates for full-time/part-time positions and co-ops/internships.

Conditions

By participating in these services, organizations agree that they will adhere to applicable federal and state EEO laws, regulations, standards and guidelines, the Recruiting Policies of NIU Career Services (PDF), as well as the appropriate principles set forth by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) in all recruiting activities, that no fee will be charged to any candidate at any time, and organizations will not disclose resumes or other applicant information under any circumstances to other entities without the applicant's prior written consent. Employers, recruiters or representatives must identify themselves by name, title, the name of the organization which employs them in an official role for employment recruitment or on-boarding. Failure to disclose this information, or providing misleading or false information will lead to immediate suspension of access to NIUCS services. Career Services reserves the right to discontinue services to students, alumni and employers who have violated EEO and NACE guidelines.
