NIU Career Services offers a variety of resources to help you succeed, including drop-in services, career counseling appointments, plus support for graduate students and alumni.

Drop-in Services

No appointment, no problem.

• Stop in during drop-in hours to meet with a career peer coach for a quick resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile review using Quinncia
• Finding meaningful experiences – Forage, internships, Huskies Get Hired, on-campus jobs, Steppingblocks and more career peer coach are students just like you. They’ve gone through lots of training to support you on the basics.
• Visit Career Services on the second floor of the Peterson Campus Life Building during our drop-in hours. This service is available to all current NIU students and alumni up to three years after graduation.
• Must arrive 10 minutes prior to closing.
• Drop-in hours are not available during university closures, semester breaks or on career fair days.
