Purpose:

This record series consists of financial documents which show internal and external transactions of the International Training Department.  Grant and non-grant programs addressing student needs include Aid to International Development, The World Bank, and miscellaneous sources from third world countries. Data of the record series includes balance ledger sheets which show name of account, amount spent, amount received, and current balance.

Procedure:

Retain in office for six (6) years, then dispose of provided all audits have been completed under the supervision of the Auditor General, if necessary, and no litigation is pending or anticipated.

International Student Files

Purpose:

This record series consists of foreign student files which document educational programs enrolled during the time of the pertinent visa. The files are used as a supplement to visa renewal and as a source for the background of the individual student. Contents in the record series consist of resumes, types of foreign ministries, enrollment data, type of degree, visa date, insurance papers, copies of passports, projected academic programs and transcripts.

Procedure:

Retain in office for five (5) years following graduation or last date of attendance, then dispose of provided all audits have been completed under the supervision of the Auditor General, if necessary, and no litigation is pending or anticipated.
