Purpose
This series contains faculty contracts for instruction and other professional services, staff appointment papers, materials pertaining to promotion, tenure, etc., grant award documentation, performance evaluations, copies of vitae, Affirmative Action reports (maintained in original format by the University's Affirmative Action Office) and position descriptions. The University-wide record copy personnel files maintained by the Office(s) of the Assistant Provost for Faculty Personnel and the Office of Personnel (under the Vice-President for Finance and Planning) will be scheduled for significantly longer retention periods.Procedure
Retain in office for five (5) years after separation from employment, then dispose of provided all audits have been completed under the supervision of the Auditor General, if necessary, and no litigation is pending or anticipated.
