The brand management and Clearinghouse team are the stewards of the NIU brand. We advise the campus community on the NIU brand, maintain the university's communication standards, approve logo usage requests and review marketing and communications collateral submitted through the Clearinghouse.
We work with colleagues across campus to use and strengthen the university's brand while supporting the unique personalities and identities of the academic colleges through sub-brands and supporting graphic elements.
The Clearinghouse is NIU's central resource for ensuring compliance with the brand standards. We review marketing and communication materials for correct use of all of the brand elements. Materials also are proofread and edited for accuracy, as well as adherence to AP Style and the university's brand voice.
