Updates for Fall 2024 Admitted Students

FAFSA data will not be available to colleges and universities until at least the beginning of March.

  • We are committed to ensuring that our admitted students have time to review their financial aid offers prior to confirming their intent to enroll at NIU.
  • We will share our updated timeline for distributing financial aid offers later this spring once we begin to receive FAFSA data and make necessary updates to our systems.
  • Assuming no further delays, we anticipate that financial aid offers should begin going out by late April.
  • We have extended our FAFSA priority deadline for AIM HIGH grants and Rockford Promise to April 1, 2024.
