The advertising team develops strategic, highly targeted campaigns designed to promote the university and inspire interest and action among prospective students. We work with our colleagues across the university and within our division to ensure our brand-building work aligns with key recruitment goals and activities.

Our team researches, conceptualizes, produces, places and evaluates all paid media designed to attract a diverse mix of students to NIU. Our efforts include both traditional and digital advertising both in and out of state. We work closely with campus partners to ensure all advertising campaigns are properly supported, fully integrated and — with a close eye on trends — often reimagined to remain relevant and responsive to all target audiences.

We oversee all resources to constantly improve the execution and outcomes of all advertising efforts, and we evaluate and share the results.
