Preparing to Attend

Applying to colleges can be confusing. If you're an undocumented student, you can apply to NIU without providing a Social Security number. Read our guidelines for applying.

Pursuing Your Degree

We'll make sure you have everything you need for your classes. If you need school supplies like folders or a backpack, we can help you out.

We can also guide you when it comes to degree requirements. Many programs require you to do some work or research outside of the classroom. Sometimes you have to provide documentation or other information in order to participate.
