Our services include resources and exams for people who aren’t attending NIU, as well as for NIU students taking courses at other institutions or who need to take a national standardized test.
We offer proctored/correspondence exams to individuals who need to complete testing for a course at another institution. These exams may also be taken by those completing an employer-required professional certification.
National standardized testing programs are developed by independent test companies. Scores from these programs generally serve as criteria for admittance to undergraduate/graduate programs or professional schools. Students may take national tests before, during or after their enrollment at NIU. Some standardized tests can be taken at Testing Services, such as the Miller Analogies Test Program (MAT).
