Lost, Stolen, Replacement OneCard

If your phone (containing your Mobile OneCard), or your physical OneCard ID, is lost or stolen, you should take immediatel action to prevent any possible misuse.


  • Get Mobile: If you don’t have your physical OneCard, start the process to get your NIU Mobile OneCard.
  • Get Temporary Cards: If you reside in a residence hall and are unable to access a NIU mobile ID
    • Door Access Temporary Card: Please see your residence hall front desk.
    • Dining Temporary Card: Please see dining staff at register.

If you found your physical OneCard or phone you can:

To ensure full access to your OneCard once it has been reactivated, you must return all temporary cards.

  • Return Temporary Cards (for residence hall students):
    • Door Access Temporary Card: Please see your residential hall front desk.
    • Dining Temporary Card: Please see dining staff at register or turn the card in to the OneCard Office.

Physical OneCard Replacement: If you are not able to do mobile and still need a replacement:

  1. Ask if card has been returned to the OneCard Office.
  2. $10 charge for damaged (must turn in old current plastic card)
  3. $20 charge to replace a lost/stolen card.
Payment options include Huskie Bucks, & debit/credit cards (VISA, Master, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay)

 

 

  • Did you get a new phone?
    Email (onecard@niu.edu) or call (815) 753-9569 to have your old mobile onecard removed from your wallet.
