Counseling and Consultation Services
Students seeking assistance or resources can reach out to Counseling and Consultation Services at 815-753-1206. Counselors are available to assist individuals or groups of students.

Employee Assistance Program
If you would like to speak with a counselor regarding feelings you may be experiencing, please remember the Employee Assistance Program provides individual counseling sessions, free of charge, for campus employees. You get scheduled to meet with a counselor by emailing Karen Smith at ksmith12@niu.edu or by calling 815-753-9191. Since the EAP office continues to work remotely during this time, sessions will be conducted either via phone or Teams meetings per the preference of the client.
