Registered Student Organization Packages
Basic Package
Ideal for meetings, information sessions, fairs, presentations and speaker events, this package provides the essential audiovisual support needed for a successful event. Whether you're hosting a guest speaker, tabling event, workshop or organizational meeting, our audio-visual team will ensure your event has the equipment and technical support needed for your event to be successful.
- HDMI connection for your laptop will connect to the projector and/or screen and in room and sound system.
- Up to four handheld microphones in Ballroom and Sandburg. Up to two microphones in the Huskie Den.
- Podium on stage
- Stage lighting. Stage will be lit with a white stage wash.
- HSC A/V technician support.

Showcase Package
Designed for student organization events, this package provides the audiovisual support needed for performances that take center stage. Whether you're hosting a dance showcase, stroll, step show or new member presentation, the audio-visual team will help deliver a professional production with quality sound, lighting, and on-site technical support.
Requires completion of Performer Contact Form.
Due two weeks prior to event.
- HDMI connection for your laptop will connect to the projector and/or screen.
- Up to 4 handheld microphones in Ballroom and Sandburg and up to 2 handheld microphones in the Huskie Den.

Our audio-visual team will help ensure your event runs smoothly with the sound, displays, and technical support needed to keep participants entertained from start to finish.

Bringing live entertainment to campus? Having a large dance performance? Your event includes more than the Basic or Showcase package? This package is designed just for your event! This package is best when your event features multiple bands, musicians, DJs, comedians, spoken word artists, cultural performances, dance groups and other live performers.

Designed specifically for outdoor events, the audio-visual team will provide the support needed to engage audiences in open-air campus environments. Whether you're hosting a tabling event, campus gathering, welcome event, new member presentation, cultural celebration, or outdoor program, the audio-visual team will provide professional sound support, equipment, and technical assistance to help create a successful and engaging event experience.

Outdoor Custom Package
Designed for outdoor events that require technical support, this package is ideal for performances and activities featuring live bands, musicians, DJs, inflatables, cultural performances, dance groups and other entertainers. Our audio-visual team will work with you to assess your event's technical needs, coordinate access to available electrical power, and provide the audiovisual support necessary to help your event run safely and successfully in an outdoor environment.

NIU Department Packages
These event spaces are designed for performances and presentations that require audio, lighting and other technical support. To ensure our audio-visual team is prepared and your event runs smoothly, you must submit a detailed run of show that includes the estimated timeline, speakers, performances, dances, videos and any other planned activities.
Your final run of show and all event details must be submitted at least 10 business days before your event. This allows our team enough time to schedule staff, program equipment, coordinate technical needs and address any changes before the day of your event. Submitting complete information by the deadline helps us provide the best possible support and contributes to a successful event.
Events that include performers, speakers, DJs, entertainers, bands, comedians and other contracted or invited guest performers must complete the Performer Information Form.
The form must be completed and submitted 3 weeks prior to the event. HSC team requires direct contact with performer(s) at least 2 weeks prior to the event to ensure the event is supported as needed.
Basic Package
