We are pleased to use Experian Employer Services to provide a better way to obtain proof of employment and income for current or former employees.

How to Access the Experian System

Current and Past Employees

New users must register using the Experian Verify Employee Registration Form and enter:

• Access code: 22C664CA
• Full social security number
• Full name
• Date of birth
• Email address

Please note that you can use the system for verification of:

• Employment (current and past employees)
• Employment and income (current employees)
• Public Service Loan Forgiveness purposes (current and past employees)

Security Freeze

Within the Experian system, you can also implement a security freeze which will block access to your information without your actively removing the freeze. You can also set up email notifications to be notified each time a commercial verifier requests your employment or income information.

To do this, you would:

1. Click on "privacy"
2. Toggle on the "security freeze" button located below the section labeled "verification access control preferences"

For Third-party Verifiers

To request a verification, go to Experian Verify and submit your request online. The employer is: Northern Illinois University.

Government or Social Service Verifier

Please submit your request online free of charge at Experian Verify by registering and passing the credentialing process to obtain a social service verifier account. This would allow you to make verification requests free of charge and have requests completed with the shortest turnaround time. Alternatively, you can submit directly to Experian via e-mail or fax by sending to verify@experian.com or 404-829-1336.
