Guiding You to Success
Around your hire date, a representative from our Leading Employees to Success (L.E.T.S.) Program will contact you. This program will provide support as you transition into your new job and beyond.
We’ll also invite you to attend a welcome event just for new employees. You’ll learn more about benefits and perks, explore university resources and get tips on adjusting to your role in higher education. It’s a great opportunity to meet other new employees and hear directly from NIU leaders as you discover what it means to be a Huskie.

You’ll need to complete some paperwork before your start date. It’s also a good time to learn more about the NIU community.

On your first day at your new job, you’ll learn about your duties and responsibilities while completing orientation and other tasks.
