Togetherall Mental Health Support

Online resources and support for the challenges that come with being in college.

NIU Counseling and Consultation Services offers Togetherall as part of its suite of services. Togetherall is a peer-to-peer round-the-clock support service that allows you to speak to other college students, via online chat, about things with which you are struggling.

You can find support for a range of issues, such as homesickness, relationship problems, identity issues, roommate or parent conflicts, and the loss of a loved one. Togetherall peer educators are diverse college students who are supervised by licensed medical professionals and trained to talk through a wide range of topics.

You can access Togetherall through the Counseling and Consultation Services website. You'll first need to create a Togetherall account. Then, you'll be able to log in and access the online chat function and other resources. It's anonymous, supportive and safe, and mental health professionals monitor the site 24/7.

Togetherall is free to all NIU students. No waiting list. Join now and explore.

Huskie Spotlight

“Another service I have found valuable is Togetherall...It is extremely helpful to know there are online resources available 24/7 if you want to chat with someone about feelings and difficult situations or just need support. They also have self-assessments, articles, journal and goal-setting tools, and links to external mental well-being resources. It is a tremendous benefit for all students!”
