Membership Options

All faculty and staff have accounts in our system. Sign in to MyRec using your existing NIU account information to receive your discounted membership pricing.

Payment Options

You can pay with a credit card, cash, check (payable to NIU) or payroll deduction. To pay with a credit card, log in to MyRec with your NIU email and password. To pay with cash or check, visit the front desk of the Rec Center.

To set up payroll deduction, complete a payroll deduction authorization form (XLS) and send it to recreation@niu.edu or bring it to the Rec Center. You can pay in:

• One, five or 10 pay periods (annual or school year membership)
• One or five pay periods (single semester)
• One pay period (summer semester or winter break)
