National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) Chapters - Fraternities
The organizations in the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) are known as the “Divine Nine.” These historically African American organizations were founded before the Civil Rights Movement. Joining an NPHC fraternity is a commitment to community awareness and action through education and service.
How to Join
The process for joining an NPHC chapter is called member intake or rush. There’s no set time of year NPHC chapters accept new members, and they might not accept new members every semester. To join an NPHC chapter, start by attending their events. Check their social media and look for campus signage to learn what’s coming up.
