Arrive at 12:45 p.m. to meet your section leader. We’ll rehearse outside on the west side of the Music Building, so bring your water bottle, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, etc. After rehearsal ends at 4 p.m., we’ll provide pizza, salad and water.
At 6:15 p.m., we’re due at Huskie Stadium for a sound check and dress rehearsal for our performance of the National Anthem at the DCI show.
At 7 p.m., the DCI show begins. We’ll provide tickets for Marching Band members. Parents, family and friends will need to buy their own tickets.
The show will end at approximately 10 p.m. Make plans to travel safely to and from your home for the event, if you plan to attend.
If you need an NIU trombone, euphonium, mellophone or sousaphone, please arrive at rehearsal between 12:15 and 12:30 p.m. to check out the instrument. There is a $50 rental fee for any NIU instrument. Please make checks or money orders payable to NIU. Cash is reluctantly accepted. Credit cards are not accepted.
