Located just east of Grant Towers, Patterson Complex features cluster living with enhanced privacy. Students live small group clusters of 12, and each share a semiprivate restroom with one other student. A common space for each group of 12 residents includes a study area, living room area and kitchen-like area.

The safety and security of every resident is important to us. Patterson Complex residents use their OneCard to enter the building 24/7. Residents must also use their OneCard to get onto their floor, and their card and a PIN access their room. Guest registration is enforced 24/7. Hall staff and NIU police are always available.
