Week of Welcome

NIU’s Week of Welcome (WOW) is Wednesday, Aug. 23 through Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023. The WOW program is an extension of orientation and is your introduction to NIU.

Expect a balance of fun and friendly events with exclusive learning experiences. WOW provides the perfect environment for you to make a solid start in your education at NIU. You'll meet with your academic college, learn about important campus resources and discover what it means to be part of our pack and celebrate Huskie Pride.
