Request Military and Veteran Student Success Coaching
Military and Veteran Services supports our students holistically, including academically by offering appointments with a Peer Academic Coach. This coach is an undergraduate student who can help mentor you on your Huskie journey. Our Peer Academic Coach is a student veteran who can meet one-on-one virtually and will also host various workshops.
Peer Academic Coaches can provide individual coaching on:
Student-veteran transition to the classroom
Best practices in study skills, test-taking and academic habits
Navigating online classrooms
Goal setting
Overcoming procrastination tendencies
Strategies for advising sessions and planning degree path
To schedule an appointment, log on to to the system (or create an account), select Peer Academic Coach and then choose Military and Veteran Services to make an appointment with our coach.
