Email announcements are sent to NIU faculty, staff and students every Monday and feature program news and information, professional opportunities and alerts of upcoming events. To submit an annoucement for distribution to an internal audience (faculty, staff, current students) please submit a Clearinghouse Review and Mass Email Request Form.
Monday Announcement Guidelines
- Announcements should be 200 words or less; Ones that are longer will be returned to the submitter for editing. Keep it brief. You should include hyperlinks to additional information posted on your website or your calendar.
- Announcements are due by 4:30 p.m. Thursday of the week prior.
- Events should be posted to the NIU calendar. Events posted to the calendar by Thursday are eligible to be included in Monday’s announcements email by submitting a clearinghouse form with the link to the event’s calendar webpage.
- Announcements will not be repeated more than once. If you have specific dates in mind, please include them in the comments.
