NIU sends two weekly announcement emails: NIU Official Announcements to all employees and the Weekly Scroll to all students. Both carry university news and information, professional opportunities and upcoming events.
University Marketing produces both on behalf of the university. Any NIU department, college or division may submit information for either audience.
Submit your information through the Internal Distribution Request Form. Indicate which audience you need to reach, and your item will be placed in the next available edition.
Submit your request by the Thursday prior to the edition you are targeting. Questions may be directed to announcements@niu.edu.
