Student Resources

The Latino Resource Center (LRC) is committed to empowering students through meaningful opportunities for academic success, growth, leadership development and cultural awareness. Students can reserve a dedicated space at the LRC, join the Adela de la Torre Latino Honor Society to advance academic excellence and advance scholarly talents, or build community and leadership skills through the Mentoring and Engaging Through Academic Success (METAS) program. The LRC provides cultural and heritage events as well as programming that centers Latinx experiences in the U.S. and globally to allow all students to learn, develop and grow. These resources are designed to support your journey at NIU and help you make the most of your university experience.
