Candice Olagunju, MBA, serves as the Director of Admissions, Recruitment, and Pipeline Development at Northern Illinois University (NIU) College of Law, where she also co-directs the NIU Law Diversity Scholars Pipeline Program. In her role, she drives the strategic vision, recruitment policies and operational programming for the Admissions Office to cultivate a highly talented and diverse law school student body.
Having previously served as the Associate Director of Admissions starting in May 2021, Candice has consistently demonstrated a data-driven approach to enrollment management and talent acquisition. Under her recruitment leadership, the College of Law achieved record-breaking applicant volume and its highest enrollment and admittance numbers in institutional history, alongside a 40% increase in the enrollment of underrepresented students. Her strategic vision extends to building robust institutional feeder partnerships to broaden access for qualified candidates.
Candice began her career at Northern Illinois University in 2015 as the Academic Counselor and Marketing Coordinator for the College of Business MBA Programs. In this capacity, she managed marketing campaigns, social media strategy and academic advising for over 270 graduate students, while leading key outreach initiatives that boosted program admissions.
She holds a Master of Business Administration with a certificate in Managerial Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
