Student Learning Outcomes

  1. Use communication strategies that are respectful to persons with disabilities.
  2. Integrate counseling skills to facilitate basic interviewing techniques.
  3. Explain multicultural aspects of client and service provider collaboration in rehabilitation environments.
  4. Integrate rehabilitation and disability services to facilitate employment and independent living for persons with disabilities.
  5. Determine impact of disability on employment and independent living.
  6. Identify resources that reduce barriers toward community participation by persons with disabilities.
