Academics

The Department of biological sciences is one of the most popular programs on campus, with about 600 students majoring in biological sciences and 75 pursuing a minor. The department offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in biology, along with pathways for educator licensure and specialized graduate study. Areas of study include anatomy, biomedical science, biology education for higher education and academic careers, ecology, evolution, behavior and conservation and microbiology.
