Kinesiology faculty research includes skeletal muscle adaptations to exercise training, body composition quantification for health and performance and muscle metabolism.
Hands-on Learning Opportunities
You’ll take classes in several of our teaching and research facilities across campus with state-of-the-art equipment.
In addition to studying scientific principles that regulate behavior, change and performance (physiology, biomechanics, psychology, measurement, gerontology, nutrition), you’ll learn by doing in clinical experiences and community outreach programs, including the Oak Crest Retirement Center Exercise Program.
And you can complete internships in fitness centers, sport performance centers, rehabilitation centers or corporations.
