Organized by institution, our articulation tables list community college courses and their NIU equivalents. The NIU equivalent can be a specific course, a general elective credit or a specific elective credit (Society and Culture Elective, for example).
The tables also contain Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI) codes. These codes indicate courses that are part of a set of general education courses that transfers between institutions.
Organized by NIU college, our major guides provide information on course requirements for specific majors. Our four-year degree paths can help you plan when to take each course.
Transferology is a website that shows how courses you've taken transfer to NIU and other institutions.
