Careers with a Health Sciences Degree
A Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) is necessary to practice physical therapy. Once credentialed you can find careers in the following areas:

Health Sciences Faculty
Our faculty work to solve real life health problems and share their findings both inside and outside of the classroom. A few research interest among our faculty include: identifying factors associated with falling, control of balance across the lifespan, physical therapy awareness and use among minorities, posture and back pain, and physical activity and skill development in preschoolers.

Hands-on Learning Opportunities
You can participate in research as an undergrad. Our Research Rookies program allows you to conduct research projects with faculty mentors. Or, generate your own research projects through our Undergraduate Special Opportunities in Artistry and Research Program.
