Student Involvement and Leadership Development (SILD) is dedicated to engaging students, and the university community in campus life through intentional programs, and resources that facilitate holistic development.

We want to provide you with more detailed information on areas of interest to you and assist you in becoming involved on campus during your collegiate career. NIU Cares Day Information
NIU Cares Day is April 13th, 2019! Registration is open for community projects sites and faculty, staff and alumni who want to assist as project site leaders. Students who want to host a team should attend the final Team Leader Orientation on February 27th at 11:00 AM in the Campus Life Building room 100. We will open registration for team members and individual participants in March! Get involved and engage with the community on NIU Cares Day!
