Required Healthy Relationships and Sexual Misconduct Training

For Employees

At the beginning of your employment at NIU, you'll take sexual misconduct awareness and prevention training. This is required of all new employees. You'll learn about common concerns and NIU policies on prohibited behaviors.

Annual employee training is also required to provide you with updated information about NIU policies and procedures.

If you have any questions about this required training, contact Karen Smith at ethicstraining@niu.edu.

For Students

All new students, including transfers, are required to complete the training. This training includes information on resources, advocacy, sexual misconduct and strategies on how to become an active bystander. Learn more about conduct prohibited by the university.

For questions about the training, contact studentassistance@niu.edu.
