Huskie Food Pantry

The Huskie Food Pantry is a source of nutritional food, experiential learning and service for the NIU community. As a non-profit organization, we rely on the support of our generous donors, volunteers, interns and university partners.

We invite you to join us through volunteering for pantry night, becoming a monetary or food donor and helping us spread the word about our cause on Facebook and Twitter.

Eligibility

To be eligible to use the Huskie Food Pantry, you must:

  • Be a currently enrolled NIU student.
  • Have your NIU OneCard.
  • Not have an NIU meal plan.

If you are able, please bring re-usable bags for your shopping items. Learn more about our shopping process, view our client policy.

Hours of Operation

The Huskie Food Pantry is open every Thursday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. excluding the listed closures below. To participate in our initial lottery process, please arrive to room 128 in the Chick Evans Field House by 5 p.m.
