These awards acknowledge excellence in teaching, research, scholarship, artistry and engagement, and result from a rigorous application process involving academic peers, students, and external partners.

All three presidential awards and the Board of Trustees Professorship share the same application schedule:

  • Sept. 9, 2022: call for nominations
  • Oct. 17, 2022: nomination deadline
  • Nov. 14, 2022: application deadline

*Formerly called the Presidential Research Professorship, this award has been expanded and its name changed accordingly to the Presidential Research, Scholarship and Artistry Professorship.
