Personalized microwave cooking demonstrations for your group – from microwave mug cakes to meals in a mug, we offer a variety of presentations demonstrating innovative, tasty and simple microwave recipes. Presentations include information about where to get ingredients, specific instructions and a demonstration of how to make the mug recipe in the residence hall.

Recipes include the following:

• Microwave mug cakes (sweet cinnamon apple, monkey bread, pumpkin mug pie, DeKalb corn cake, peanut butter and chocolate)
• Microwave egg muffins
• Five-minute vegetarian burrito bowl
• Mug fried rice

The campus dining nutrition team walks through a detailed presentation taking you step by step through healthy eating on campus. Learn how to navigate our menus and identify the healthiest choices using our online tools. Sort allergen filters and discover where to find nutrition facts and ingredient lists.

We will guide you towards building a balanced plate at our dining centers and can offer a tour of a dining center upon request. It is possible to eat healthy on campus, let us show you how!

Sit down with the Campus Dining Nutrition team for a snack and a presentation on any nutrition-related topic. Samples of a healthy snack and an activity to promote the nutrition-related topic are typically provided. We are happy to create a presentation on the nutrition topic of your choice. You can also choose from our available presentations:

Body image is a complex feeling and belief about your appearance, height, weight, or shape.  Anybody can struggle with body image concerns and these struggles can make it difficult to stay positive and mentally well. 

In this presentation, we'll help sort through body image disturbances, help guide you towards a healthy relationship with food and embrace size and body diversity.
