Elinor Olin
Associate Professor

With a background in both music performance and music history, as well as a record of professional publications and presentations, I hope to encourage students’ exploration of many aspects of music: seeking new repertory, finding a deeper understanding of the repertory they already know, critical evaluation of musical performances, and the means to communicate their own ideas. Having done work in several languages, I am particularly supportive of students whose native language may not be English.
My office door is always open. Students are encouraged to ask questions and discuss their ideas informally.
