Brigid Findley

Academic Advisor

Brigid is a Sycamore, Illinois native and is excited to still call the Sycamore/DeKalb area home. From Huskie Pup Camp to voice lessons to NIU Summer in the Arts Theatre Camp, she literally grew up on campus. She loves talking about her home town and sharing her NIU experiences with students and families. Brigid returned to work at NIU in 2017 and recently earned a master's degree in public administration focusing on nonprofit management. Brigid served as coordinator of admissions for the School of Music and is now the school's academic advisor. One of her favorite things about working in the School of Music is being able to hear students practicing throughout the building and grounds – the energy and vibe is magnetic.
